AM Polymers
Mistsubishi Chemical Group began working with Intermode when they won the 2022 Growth Garage Circular Economy Challenge in the Parts/Product category.
Intermode is developing highly customizable robotic delivery vehicles that will make autonomous delivery available to all in a more efficient and environmentally friendly way. MCG will be assisting Intermode with incorporating more carbon fiber, specifically in the platform of their vehicle to provide the lowest lifetime cost.

AM Polymers
Mitsubishi Chemical America and Filament Innovations have been working together to create a new blend of CPX to take 3D-printed prosthetics to the next level. This updated material features chopped carbon fibers along with additional additives to increase layer bonding and allow for easier printing.

AM Polymers
Mitsubishi Chemical Group and AM Polymers collaborated to develop PBT Powder to further expand their product portfolio for 3D printing. SLS/PBF is a process whereby users can achieve complex geometries at a short production lead time.
PBT powder offers good mechanical properties, with much lower moisture absorption characteristics than polyamide 12, a common material for SLS/PBF. Thus, MCG and AMP expect new PBT powder products to be used for industrial applications such as automotive and aerospace. In addition, this new partnership enables MCG and AMP to accelerate growth in the 3D printing area.
